WISE AND OTHERWISE
”The purpose of life is a life of purpose.” (Robert Byrne)

”Never grow a wishbone where your backbone ought to be.” (Puddleford)

TODAY’S INVOCATION was given by Bill Kern. “Our Heavenly Father, as we gather this day, we thank You for the opportunities and freedom given to each of us. We thank You for our friends, friends that come together to share their knowledge and expertise, kindled by the dedication to serve humanity.
Let us be ever mindful of our Rotary family and the recent loss within our family of our friend and fellow Rotarian, Ken Ruoff. May his life of dedication to serve others be an inspiration to each one of us.
Our most meaningful wish is that success will come to Rotary’s mission to eradicate polio from the face of the earth. Help us meet this challenge as we celebrate the 100-year anniversary of Rotary.
May each of us share the wisdom of our leader as we work together for world peace and understanding. We ask these things in His name, Amen.”
